Fashion Week goes green starting tomorrow. The Be EcoChic Campaign, backed by the Sierra Club, will put on their show at the American Museum of Natural History, with the goal of painting the runway green.

Not literally of couse. But with designers, including Carmen Marc Valvo, Chado Ralph Rucci, Christian Cota, Del Forte, Donna Karan (DKNY) and many more. And celebrity and environmentalist models, including former-Miss USA and model-actress Susie Castillo, environmentalist Jayni Chase, Animal Planet’s Jeff Corwin, performer Coltrane Curtis, Gossip Girl’s Tamara Feldman and many others.

To ensure the fashion show is a truly green one, the campaign will offset their carbon footprint with donations to Carbonfund.org.

Now that’s a campaign to make others green with envy!

Let the games begin! Today, 8/8/08, at 8:00 p.m. millions will watch the much anticipated opening ceremonies for the Beijing Olympics. Whether you’ve been following the controversial torch trail or wondering why those cyclists are wearing silly little masks, the games are finally on! And fashion a star player!

Look out for Team USA’s fashionable Ralph Lauren uniforms. And show your support by sporting ASOS retro-tees inspired by past games.

So what if these brands are exploiting the Olympics?! The trend is golden to us!
